Will it cost him to get her name taken off the title?
A Pontiac Grand Am is what I bought when I went for my first car. It was around $12,000 and gets great gas mileage, drives nice, and is a good solid car. I've had it for almost a year and it's a 2004 and I haven't had a single problem with it. It's a great car.If a car is repo'd, am I still liable for the balance owed?
Well, you can get a really nice Honda Civic (Coupe) for like $14 thousand. Seats 4/5, depending on if you count the rear center seat, has decent gas economy, and is overall a nice car. Anyway, generally I'd say get an Asian car, preferrably a Honda as they are really good when it comes to gas economy and they've got nice handling as well. I'm almost 15, and I'm hoping that my bro will give me a Honda after I get a permit... :DAnyway, good luck on finding that car.
Edit: I forgot to mention the best reason NOT to get a domestic car. reliability. I suggest you get something from either Europe or Asia.

I've had a 99 Grand Am for 2 years and not had any serious problems wrong with it. Just the minor wears and tears! I love my car!I want to check a car for flood damage, what do I look for?
Honda Civic that you purchase from a individual (preferably from a mature adult with low miles) is probably about the best thing you can buy for reliability and cost.More Questions & Answers ...
