Question:
Alright, here's the deal. I am thinking of buying an S.U.V. I have around 12,000 to 14,000. I want something that has 3 row seating (or can convert into 3 row seating) Im going to daily drive it *not far, my work is less than 5 miles away*. Im going to mainly use it for towing stuff like Jet skis and my race car to competitions. I would really prefer something over the year 98. I have been looking at the 1999-2004 Chevrolet Tahoes and Lincoln Navigators. I want some opinions and personal reviews from people here on Yahoo. I am open to any other sugestions as far as S.U.V.'s, goes. I want to hear eveyone's 2 cents on SUV's before I spend the dough. If you want to recomend another type of sport utility vehicle go ahead!
By the way, i have done research. But im telling you that I want to hear from real people that use their Sport Utility Vehicles out in the real world.

What kind of car should I buy?
Tahoe is not a bad choice i would forget the Navigator as they are very expensive to maintain and fix and the air suspension is somewhat troublesome, the Ford Expedition is a solid choice the 4.6L V8 in the Expedition is less troublesome than the 5.3L, you may also consider the Chevy Suburban as its 3 row seating is a bit more comfortable than the Tahoe or Expedition and it can carry more equipment.Whatever you choose take it to the dealer to make sure all recalls have been completed as there were a few over the years for any of these vehicles.
go to www.edmunds.com and you can search reviews there as well as approximate pricing.
How many miles will the Oldsmobile Alero last for?
I have an '06 Chevy Trailblazer, with every imaginable option except navigation (seen the commercial where the guy is so busy looking at the navigation system that he plows into a shop's plate glass window - that's how useful I think those are - I can read a map, can you?) and running boards (I am tall and clumsy and live on a gravel road) or dvd (my dog didn't watch much tv). Last car was an '03 Olds Bravada. Is it to late to back out of a car deal?
I am basically a soccer mom, but I don't have kids. I do gardening and groceries, hauled the dog around, went garage sale-ing, etc. My dad is a retired GM mechanic and we get a nice discount. I am a retired automotive industry marketing person, I love cars and driving.
What are some things I should look for and ask when buying a used car?
The Trailblazer has an awesome turning radius, is high enough to see why the morons in front of me are suddenly and often randomly braking, and gets pretty bad gas mileage - 14.5 mpg city with aggressive driving. I love it!
Question about getting a car.?
The new Tahoes are incredible! I looked one over while waiting and waiting for my supposedly one-hour oil change at the dealer. But even with my dad's discount, with all the bells and whistles, an '07 Tahoe is almost $700 a month lease. eeek
What is the problem with toyota camrys transmission.?
So here is my suggestion; buy a cd or money market with your $14k. Lease a not "tricked-out" version of a Tahoe (or a Trailblazer if you can give up the third row seating) if you can stay under the 12 - 15,000 mileage limits with a lease.
Just bought a 2001 pontiac aztek...what are FACTS and known pros/cons of this car?
Stay away from the Lincolns, I had a '97 Continental (purchased not leased) and it was a nightmare. Severe electrical problems that occured randomly, we finally gave up and traded it in.
Tips for used car shopping? Any new cheap new cars that are really better and reliable?
As my dad says about cars "Don't buy someone else's problems".
