Christmas Shopping Help?

I'm at work most of the day so no one is around to sign for packeges so I signed up for the Ups/Fed-Ex pre-sign thing, where they just leave packages on your doorstep because the thing I signed up for counts as if I signed their clipboard. Do they deliver everything like that or are there certain things that I will have to sign for. For example would they leave an Amazon.com order with a PS2, ipod nano, and PSP contents on my doorstep without me there?

They will leave everything .... EVERYTHING on your door step. If you don't want themto leave something you can put a note on your door requesting a delay in pick up, or requesting it to be left with a neighbor.
