Alot of people believe it is best to wait until the end of the month, end of the quarter, or end of the model year to get the best deal. This is because its the last chance for the dealer to account for a sale and makes their numbers look better ie hitting the quota. Then again if they've reached the quota, it wouldn't really benefit them as much to dump the car for a really low value. I would recommend that you take your time purchasing the car. After narrowing it down and selecting the car you want, shop multiple dealerships that have the car and make sure to let the sales person know you are also looking at the same car at the dealership on the other side of town. And it couldnt' hurt to tell them you are also considering that particular car's direct competition. The best time to buy is Jan-Mar. I just got my new Mercedes. Hagled with BMW and Mercedes at the same time. They were so desperate they wanted to practically give me the car. Sales are generally slower before tax time.
Ford is sending out a lot of new 2008s in the next few mounths. They have some REALLY nice 2007s that are coming down due to the 2008s coming out soon. I have owned fords all my life. Best ever
