Why don't all car manufacturers, dealerships used car or otherwise, have mandatory Repair, Replace and Refund!

Question:
Policies
All other products we Australians buy are covered at the end of the day by Repair, Replace, Refund policies to protect us from dodgy items which we might purchase(alot of us don't know about it but thats how it is according to consumer protection)
Everyone except Car Dealerships and the Scheming used car dearlerships that continue everyday to deliberately deceive and confuse us just to get one of there buckets of rust out of there yard.
Only to find when you go back there they have no recolection of you every purchasing a car from them nor remembering the piece of junk that they sold you amazing!! Should there be laws governing these cowboys?

Answers:

what's a good car choice for a teen driver?

Please do your homework before asking dumb questions, there are lemon laws in every state. If you buy a used car at Crazy steve's used car lot remember you get what you pay for. If you buy used dont buy by price, go to a reputable certified pre-owned dealer pay a little more and get a quality pre-owned vehicle. I recommend Cadillac.
