What are the best and cheapest used cars to buy '?
I caution you based on what I know about the reverse - bringing a car into Canada. #1 - if you are financing the car you cannot 'move' permantly across the border since it cannot then be repo'd. #2 fees and duties are high (bizarre since we have this autopact thing for manufacturing) and 3) different bumper standards - in Canada a car must remain essentially undamaged from a controlled 10km/hr impact so cars often have different bumpers. Also in Canada you require daytime running lights so see what the deal is with those in the States. There have been some stories about this recently in the Toronto Star - look in their site thestar.com and check the Wheels sectionIs it good to buy a car from a place that say "no credit check"?
Sure you can insure, license, and title the car in California. Just be sure you have ownership papers signed off from Canada. As for shipping, I'd estimate 1500.00.
Plenty of auto shippers on the internet. Use search vehicle "automobile shipping". Also uship.com works.
Yes, you'll save some money on the exchange rate. Exchange your currency BEFORE you leave the U.S.
