Suzuki Forenza Wagon--good buy or not?

First time car buyer/driver. Want a safe, not-too-big wagon for me and my daughter to go only around neighboring towns for local grocery shopping, mall, parents' house, area restaurants. Is this car a good buy or would you suggest something else? Keep in mind, monthly payment I'm looking for is under $300 and yes, I have excellent credit.
