Question:
I am a college student, so don't have a lot of money for a new car and need something reliable. Most affordable cars are past 100k miles usually, but what car seems to have the best reliability past 100k miles. Thanks.

Im 17 and my parents are going to buy me a car around $5000. What car should I get?
I agree with most of the comments, Toyota being the pick. Ive found top-line Hondas to be pricey when they do need repairs, altho Toyota are pretty good. Im suprised Nissan hasnt been mentioned more, they last and last, and are generally great fun to own. For a student, therefore a coupe is OK, id go Toyota Celica, Honda Prelude or Nissan 180 or 240SX. If a sedans more you, check Camry, Accord or Maxima. Hatchbacks, the Corolla, the Civic or Pulsar are all great. Or do what I did, buy a mid 90s 300ZX, its a dream to own, and looks great in the carpark. What ever you buy, do a fresh full service, especially the gearbox oil, diff, radiator, etc. Check condition of the timing belt, it should be done every 50- 60000miles(100 000km)Honda, hands down
Toyota or Honda, no doubts.
i am looking for a 69 nova any body know where one is?

I have a chevy pickup had it for almost 8 years has almost 200,000 miles on it, never had to do anything major to it. very reliable.Does anyone know where I can get statistics on cars sold within the last year?
Chevy s-10 mercury cougar these are the only 2 i know for sure because i own both and the s-10 has 250000 and still going strongHow does vehicle leasing work?
HONYOTASI've worked on two Chevy S-10's that had 250,000+ and one was creeping up on 500,000 miles both had the 4.3 V6 but HONDA and TOYOTA ARE KING in longevity overall
Is it a bad idea to buy a car from a "buy here pay here" dealer?
The most reliable cars are Honda's, Acuras, Toyotas, Lexus, and Infiniti(but not Nissan). Just remember that with ANY car you buy used you are taking a gamble, though these cars are reliable for the most part you could always be buying a car that was driven by some 16 year old that never changed the oil or did preventive mainetnance. Many times their reliablilty is offset by huge repair costs. All depends on how the car was treated before you acquire it.
If it was a rental vehicle that you bought at a fleet auction, I guarantee you that it was dogged even if they can produce maintenance records.
What is the best car navigation system?
It will help if you know how to mechanically shop for a car.
If you are a duence in such matters, throwing a little change out for a good mechanic to look over a vehicle would be worth the investment.
Now with that said, myself, I know that Nissans and Toyotas are pretty good. I've owned/drove both (240sx/corolla.) I'd say get the toyota since I find lots of parts in the junkyard for them just in case you get a problem. I've also had a string of Ford Mustangs (didn't buy since I didn't think they were worth the cost as compared to my 240sx.) BUT i've got them to run for over 260K of HARD driving (pizza delivery) and still sent to the junkyard running.
Hello Guys! I am intending to buy 2007 Ford Explorer. Your comments please?
Japanese are good but higher price on parts.
Good luck.
