When I was 16 all my friends had fairly cool cars like Camaros and smaller sportier cars. I had a Ford Pinto that went 0 to 60 in a whopping 13.5 seconds. The thing had no pick up at all and would start shaking if I hit 70 mph.
As a result, I never got into the aggressive driving thing that most young drivers do. They all wrecked their first cars sooner or later, but I drove my Pinto for 10 years until it just plain died of exhaustion.

my first car at 15 was volkwagan rabbit 1981! it was awesome my dad got it for free.the air filter was all messed up i had to shake it and then try to turn it on. me and my friends would ditch school and get stuck in the middle of nowhere in the desert since we went off roading. it was such a cool car i never had money and insurance was only 40 bucks for it. i took care of it. my dad never helped me buy the air filter part to exchange. i moved and had to give the car away. the best part was the cassette player with one speaker working only haha.
