I am planning on buying a used G35 coupe in the very near future, price is about 25k. I plan to pay for this myself, however, my parents don't like used cars...so they decided to drop a small bomb on me.they said if I buy a new car, they'll put in 15k.
It's alot of money...but I personally don't want them paying for my car, even if it's just a portion of it.but at the same time...damn that's alot of money.
Where can i find a s-10 crew cab for a $1000 at?
What would you do? Oh, and this is suppose to be my first car.

I personally paid for my own car (s), no matter how young I was. Pride of ownership, doing what I wanted with my car, being 100% responsible for everything, taking charge is the only way for me. I would tell them to keep the 15k, this is something you should be able to do on your own. Part of growing up is doing things on your own, knowing your limits, pushing yourself to do better.. I take it you still live at home with the folks? Nothing wrong with that, they pay for your clothes and food, and you work after school, 25k isn't that much with a longer term loan. Step up to the plate, you'll be glad you did.
