What's a good car for a 16 year old to buy? and how much would that cost?

I'm going to a police auction on Saturday to get a car , what should i look for and look out for ?

I don't have very much money. Barley even enough to afford a small, cheep car. So please keep in mind, i can't spend millions of dollors on it.

A 97 Honda Del Sol.this was the best car I ever had!! I just sold mine for about $3800... but I have seen some that were not in as good of shape as mine for $2000... This was the best car I have ever had and the most fun (roof comes off and goes in the trunk) it was quick and got great gas mileage...sometimes it would leak a little through the roof in the rain but that was literally the only problem it ever had(and it had over 170,000 miles)!! the only reason I sold it was because I needed to have my truck re-geared and the truck needed tires(that's over $2000 worth of work) so I regrettably sold it.. :( if you want to see what a Del Sol looks like go to my 360 and to the right I have photos there should be a picture or two of it!!..
