Anyone got anything good to say about carcraft?
Nothing you can do.. other than make the payments yourself if you want to salvage your credit. You could sue her for the payments you made in small claims court (if under $5k in most states). That's just the risks a co-signer assumes when they do what they do.Is an automobile extended warranty worth the money?
Never ever co-sign ever again for anyone. other than your immediate family.
How much did a motorhome cost ten years ago ?
unfortunatlyif your name is on the loan then you are technically part responsible for paying it off. You should explain all of this to the loan people and try to get them off your back and on hers. Sounds like a nice ex girlfriend. Unfortunatly you may have to swallow this one and take it as a lesson learned. Good luck!who is the primary on the account, you or her? Regardless of who it is, you should call the loan company and inform them of the situation. (the primary person is usually the person who gets the most phone calls). Give them all of the information that you have on her. Phone number, work number, new address, work address (if you have it). This will aid in tracking the vehical if they do have to repo it (and cost you less in the long run) Also, if you do voluntaraly reliquish the vehical, it will cost you less in the long run.
What exactly is involved in trading in a vehicle towards the purchase of another?
you should also file a police report. Im not sure if you can mark it as stolen since she is a co-signer but it is both of your properties.
Should I repair or sell this car?
If she denies that she knows where the car is, then report it stolen RIGHT AWAY and then turn over the information to your loan company. The police may tell you it is a civil matter and you have to take it up in civil court. if that is the case, try to look for what your legal options are.
What is the deal behind "guaranteed credit" vehicle loans?
Since you both signed the agreement, you both are still responsible for the payments.
Im from Chicago and I need to sell my car. I still owe the bank. What is the procedure?
call judge judy.. she will take care of it..How do I get out of car that I'm $5k upside down on?
You need to file a claim against them at the court house. It is part your car as well as your payment. I dont know why you let her take the car to begin with since you owed half.file a police report for theft by bailee or report the car as stolen with the ex girl friend and husband as suspects if they have possision of the vehicle and have hidden it and are keeping it from you then they are criminals in the eyes of the law . remember that her name changed after marrage and it is no longer the same as the one on the contract you and she signed !also you need to get a copy of the registration and have current insurance so you are protected if the vehicle has been damage since you saw it last.
Jeep patriot vs grand vitara, which 1 should i choose?
freakin' broad ! call the cops, tell them your situation, then get a lawyer, because if it's screwing up your credit, tell the credit company what's going on. but don't wait, every day it gets deeper for you. if her name is on the loan she should be responsible for it too, good luck buddy !Depending on your state, try small claims court. In Calif. your good up to $5000.00. If you signed the loan app, you are responsible. If you are listed on the DMV title/registration and she is not, report the car as stolen. If she's on the title, you're in deep yogurt. Then its a civil matter, not a criminal one and because you signed the loan ap, you're screwed.
I think you should try to approach her and let her know that if something does not get done then I will be forced to take legal action and find a lawyer that you can afford, but once you threaten them both with that then maybe they will turn it around and you could possible work out a payment plan and get it all in writing and have them both sign it so if she won't pay it her husbamd will.
I see it happen all time this is a situation were her name is on the loan so you can't report it stole it most likely will become a repo because even to re fiance you need her to signature prep air to have a Rep on you credit their is no way out of this situation..sorry but it is what it is
