I bought a car with the help of a bank and after two months It needed to have the entire engine replaced. I call the same lot and they said that it was as is, but they knew the car was bad when they sold it to me. The first time I brought it home the next day it was making weird noises and acted as if it didn't want to go and I called them. They said that it just needed an oil change. When I got the oil changed the people at lub shop told me that I had water in my engine. It all went down hill from there. It's been slightly over a month since i've had the new motor installed.

A car is considered a lemon when it CANT BE FIXED. I would sue the crap out of that dealership if I were you.Lemon law does NOT apply to used cars. In the future, before you buy a used car, spend a hundred dollars or so to have it checked out by a qualified mechanic. Once you sign a used car contract and drive the car off the lot YOU OWN IT. The dealer has NO responsibility after that! I'm sorry this happened, but there is really nothing that you can do at this point

you missed your chance...with any deal such as described you have 3 business days to void the contract... (for ANY reason). the lemon law is for warrantied vehicles that are serviced for multiple repeats of the same problem ...your stuck with what you have now.A lemon is usually a car you've had for less than a year and it has had the same problem repaired at least 3 times and it still is not fixed. Then you may be able to invoke the lemon law.
