You better bring a good mechanic, because they usually come with a bunch of minor electrical sabbotage (they rip their equipment out and leave stuff hanging), and most of the time you can only test drive them around a crowded parking lot. Watch your newspapers for police auctions. They're often held in county seats or state venues, and will include used police vehicles as well as siezed vehicles. You can often get some great deals... maybe a bullet hole or two as well, but that's part of the charm.
