the 07' CRV is a nasty uncomfortable ride (I love Honda cars but their suv's are crap). As for Nissan, my friend has an 06 murano and it is a very nice ride, doesnt make me queasy, and the handling is exelent (don't know anything about the 07'Murano but it has to be better than a CRV)

They are both Unibody car framed SUV's, so niether of them will be exceptionally durable, but if I had to choose I would choose the Nissan. Althought the GMC Acadia, Ford Edge, Mazda CX-7 and Mazda CX-9 are all better vehicles.

you are comparing two different categories here, the CRV is an entry level compact SUV the Murano is a midsize luxury oriented SUV. Whichever fits your budget is the better vehicle for you, the CRV will get slightly better mileage, the Murano has a larger engine, more power and dont forget more technology, it has the continuously variable transmission. From reliability point of view both are equally good.
