Does the cosigner have to be present at the time of car purchase?

Question:
my uncle will be cosigning and the car dealer might be far so I don't want to make him come too far.

Answers:

What is the cheapest new car on the market that I can buy?

We overnight docs and contracts all the time. Explain the situation to your dealer and they will understand. They will mark with those little sticky arrows every place that you need to sign. Then, once he signs, just take the docs in with you. Understand that normally you will not be able to take delivery of the vehicle until all docs are returned and money/ down payment is received. The dealer wants to earn your business, they won't have a problem doing this
