I am a "new kid on the block" when it comes to EBay, I have listed my Van and have received 1 bid ( Not Enough) however, if I do get what I want- how do I complete the transaction? How do I get the money, (I don't have paypal) Do I contact the buyer or visa-versa, is there a site that explain all of this to me? Please help me or direct me to the proper place, This is being transacted in Canada. Thanks to all who answer

If you did not put a reserve on this auction then you are basically SOL. When you put something up for bid on eBay it's like signing a contract. If someone bids on it and you have no reserve then you are obligated to sell it for whatever they bid.
For help you can always go to eBay help pages. i am unfamiliar with the differences in eBay and eBay.ca but i am assuming rules are the same. It's up to the seller to set the rules for their auction. As in how items will be delivered (or picked up), reserves, what forms of payment you will accept and so forth.
When placing an item on eBay you should always be sure you know ahead of time what is expected of you, because if not you may set yourself up for major problems.

If you are not satisfied with the listing of your van, you can always cancel your listing; which is found on the top left hand corner of your listing from your "My eBay" page.

Hi have you put a reserve on the car if not you should have put a starting price that way people cannot bid below that price , when the auction is over you can contact the buyer buy clicking on send invoice or click on contact buyer you can give them your phone number and then you can give them your address to come and pick up the car and pay you cash , tell them you want payment by cash or bank cheque dont except a personal cheque unless you tell them you are keeping the car until the cheque clears, normally they will come and look at the car i hope you have put a starting price otherwise the car will go to cheep if you are not sure contact ebay and retract the sale and start again , good luck

The only way to cancel an auction is to FIRST remove all the bids, THEN end the auction early. If you end the auction early without removing all the bids, high bidder wins.

In my opinion, selling a car on eBay is much more problematical than selling regular stuff. First there's getting paid obviously! then there's the serious complication of getting the car to a buyer who might be across the country or even international! Some will fly out and expect to be met and driven around, some will ask you to meet em halfway, some will want you to arrange for a car transporter service. On top of that, the buyer is likely to back out once he finally gets a chance to look the car over. He might say "It's not what you said it was" etc. and he's gone, you're now out the ebay fees.

Oh... and beware this scam: Faraway buyer offers to send you a cashier's check for MORE than the auction amount. He wants you to take out the cost of the car and send back the rest of the money. You guessed it, the cashier's check is bogus but you won't find that out for a month.
