Can a car dealership sell a car that has been wrecked as a "new" car? Do they have to disclose that info?

If I buy a car, do I have to transfer the car documents into my name before I then sell the car, or can I instantly resell the car.

Registeration document V5C only
It should take between 2 to 4 weeks
