NO!2004 BMW X5 3.0i - $30K w/o nav but chrome running boards. Is this a good buy?
I have a 1991 honda civic, it is a great wee car, very economical and reliable too. Go the honda = awsome car! That car has a lot of miles on it. I would try to find something that didn't have as many miles on it. Maybe look for something that doesn't have have as many miles. Hope you find something great!

it is not the car for meWhen is the best time of year to buy a Honda (Accord)?
I had an 85 civic, it was my first car. It lasted up to 425,000 miles!I now drive a 91 accord, it has 212,000 miles. It's a Honda, it is worth buying if you get a good deal. Check it out on Kelley Blue Book.com
Should I buy this car with 100K?
Hondas are great. Allthough with a 100k in miles find out if they have replaced the timing belt and waterpump. If not you are looking around $550 to replace. The reason its important is if the timing belt brakes you most likely will need a new motor no lie. As far as how long it runs with good maintenance like the timing belt (recomended change of every 100k) they last a real long time with regular oil changes. Can someone explain car financing?
Only if you get it REALLY cheap. It doesn't matter how good a car has been to someone else, but how is going to be with you.Does anyone have carfax that I can use to check 1 vin number??
In a 11 year old car you are going to find some wear and tear, so please, get it really cheap and of course take it to a mechanic or friend or relative who knows mechanics to check it.
Good luck.
Which crossover SUV is better? The Satur Outlook or the GMC Acadia?
Hondas are good, reliable cars and they tend to hold up well for many miles. 100K-150K is not unusual for a Civic, and even with that many miles, it could give you many years of reliable service. However, mileage alone does not indicate the quality of the car. For example, are you sure the previous owner(s) did regular oil changes every 3000 miles? Was the timing belt replaced? Was the car in any accidents? Has it ever been salvaged? My advice would be to first check the car's history at CarFax (www.carfax.com) and then, if it checks out there, ask if you can take it to your mechanic for a really good going over. If the seller won't allow that, then walk away and look for another car. And don't even consider it if it's been salvaged! Even if it checks out and the price is good (check the blue book value at www.kbb.com), be ready for annoying repairs from time-to-time. 100K miles is a lot of use, and mechanical parts wear out. This car could need a couple thousand in minor repairs over the next year or two. And maybe it won't. Good luck!I have a PA liscence but want to buy an NJ car. How do I go about doing this?
There are too many variables to answer that question 'yes' or 'no.' For example, are you in the northeast where the car may have significant rust? If yes, avoid the car. It's been around too long to avoid rust on important stuff underneath (which can be hidden if you don't know what to look for). Has the car been maintained (oil changed regularly, maintenance schedule followed, etc.) and can they prove it with receipts. This car could have a couple hundred thousand miles left in it. Or it could be a piece of junk. If you have to ask the question on-line then you probably should get an expert (i.e. mechanic) to look at the car and tell you if it's a good deal or a disaster. But keep in mind things like, if it has seat covers, the upholstery is probably shot. If the seller says it 'just needs a tune-up' there is probably major problems with the engine. Tell him to tune it up and then you'll consider it. Anything the seller tries to tell you is an easy fix, isn't or he/she would have fixed it to sell the thing. If they didn't take care of the upholstery and the paint they probably didn't take care of the drive train. There are lots of cars out there with 100k miles on them that are real gems. There's lots more junk. You gotta find the gems and avoid the junk. Have someone who knows about cars help you from being exploited and be very skeptical of anything the seller tells you because once you've exchange paper (his title/your check) it's your car whether it junk or not. Good luck!Major World , long island city NY?
FWIW my car is a '91 mazda with 99,000 miles and I expect to get another 100,000 out of it. It burns no oil and drives like a new car.
