Is it still possible to by an old police car? I was always interested in the idea. Can you buy one direct from a station, or do they sell them at police auctions?

You can get them at public auction Most police cars in my area are just suped up chevys with a great engine, but why would you want one, most of them have been beat on, rode hard, and have geat wear on them with high milage.

you have to get one at a police auction, or eBay. there are a few places that buy the cars and take off all the stuff that's illeagal for you to have (auction would do that anyway) and sell them at their dealership. I know there's one of these places in Texas.
