Depends on how many miles and what the rest of the car is like. If the car is in good condiditon you could fix and sell it for more. But a junky 97 with a lot of miles, $150 is all it's worth.
I need a car or suv with a lot of space in the backseat!?
If they are trying to settle with her, they aren't offering the salvage value. They are offering the value of the vehicle at the time of loss adjusted for condition. I would think $150 a bit low. When you are looking at used cars and they say it has been retitled, what does that mean?
What about the labor to repair the core support and inner structure? paint ect. What about the A/C condensor if the radiator is smashed more then likely that is smashed also I would say a $150.00 is fair.Want to buy a silver renault megan 54 plate -Pembrokeshire?
There is a difference between salvage value (wrecked) and FMV fair market value before the loss. So don't go looking at mint examples to price out your wreck.
