im from hamilton ontario and looking to get a $1500-1800 loan. ive tried my bank and many other companies but im only 18 and dont have any credit history so i keep getting turned down. i bring in $2300 a month with taxes so thats not the problem anybody can help? need a car now thats why i cant just save up!

I would agree with the credit card answer-- and when he says don't blow it he means don't default on your payment-- because you will screw up your credit and the interest rate will go sky high. If you don't go this rout you'll need an unsecured loan (banks don't like giving those-- as you found out) which means high interest rates anyway. At least with the CC if you stay on top of you payment schedule AND make MORE than the minimum payment you'll get your car AND develop your credit. Make more than the minimum payment so a bit of your money goes towards paying the principle balance (the actual cost of the car) and not just the interest rates.Am I responsible for fixing dings on leased car 2 weeks after trading it?
