Look in your phone book or local paper and look for Used Tire sales. I live in Pennsylvania, I managed to get a nice set of used R16s for $132.00. So, That is probably the best way to go. If you're looking for a used set, Craigslist would probably be one place to look. Depends on the city you're in though. Craigslist in bigger cities will have more selection than smaller cities. There's always people selling used tires on there, some almost brand new for hundreds of dollars off retail. Also, unlike Ebay, you don't have to deal with or pay for shipping, and you get to inspect the tires before you buy them. Hope this helps a little.if you have an NTB or Discount Tires nearby - or other large chain that sells tires, maybe even Goodyear or Firestone - call around and aks if they have any "take offs" in that size. People will come in with new cars and have the tires swapped some times, and you can get them for a good price. I've done with the Gatorbacks. Make sure you know how much new ones would cost first, though, and make sure you are getting a good price.
