Was thinking of getting a turbo but owners reviews say, while a wolf in sheep's clothing, has high fuel economy and parts are increasingly difficult to come by, is the normal 2 16v engine any better?

Pistonheads classifieds is the place to look for "enthusiasts" cars. There's no pre 82 cars there at the moment, but there is an 84 turbo for £400!
