Ford or Mazda?

Looking to buy either a ford focus - lx model or a mazda 3. Anybody who owns one of these cars I would appreciate an honest opinion on them. How much are they? What are they like to drive? What are they like inside?

Mazda3 allt he way...while the Focus is affordable (read cheap) and reasonable for the daily grind, they are nothing special to drive,look at or sit in...they just feel.cheap

Mazda3 is fantastic in all ways...it looks fantastic, powerful and refined engines with smooth transmissions, well-built interior which not only looks cool but is easy to use, plus has loads of room. and it handles like few other cars on the road, really giving the 'zoom-zoom' feeling.
while Ford owns Mazda, Mazda has kept it's excellent quality and realiability..Focus is in now way a match for the 3

the 3 starts at$14.390 for the base 2.0L model, which is only avalable as a sedan. if you want some more 'go' get the 2.3L which starts at $17685 for a sedan or $18175 for a hatch. its a fantastic car and well worth the money

I have driven neither but I would say Mazda. Personally I think it looks better. But as for the quality I can't say either is beter since they are both owned by Ford Motor Company.
