A 2.0 litre Ford Mondeo with Zetec engine will easily do 130+ even at 5+ years if well maintained. Make sure the engine is 'clean', if it looks greasy and oily it may be an oil burner which has been 'blown' - needs new gaskets etc.

My 2.0VW passat blows the heck out of a ford mondeo anytime on any road in terms of acceleration and top speed, even my older 1.9TDI with 170Bhp passat blows the heck out of a 2.0Litre ford mondeo with a zetec engine.
