I like the T-Top trans Am's the best... but you won't need a cat-back system for any of those, they don't have catalytic converters or smog equipment.AHH...those vehicles did not have a catalytic converter.
Except possibly the 78.
The 70 camaro would be the best especially if it is SS. They are really sharp cars and if properly restored are worth between 10 and 20 thousand.
I thought i would let you in on a trick.
If you want to make your car louder drop the muffler and cut the top of it out and cut all of the sound deafening material out this will improve performance and increase your cars loudness.

If it was me, I would do the Chevelle SS with a 396 the 454 was better used as a boat anchor than an engine for a car. A 69 Camaro Z28 with a 302 is a good option too. But that is just my favorites.Can i buy a brand new Hyndai Accent for under $10,000?
