Question:
I am about to purchase a 07 Mazda3 touring edition and the sticker price is $16,750. The dealer has offered me $15,995. I an not finacially able to go above $15,000. So thats going to be my final offer. Can Mazda dealers sell their cars with $1,750 off MRSP? Do you know any negotiating advice-it has been tough getting them to the 15,995-they will hardly budge!

I want to buy car cushion covers. Where shall I get the best ones?
Actually, Mazda 3 mark up rarely is over $1,000. There have not been any manufacturer rebates and they are the hottest selling Mazda in history. Depending on the region, Mazda offers a 'Hit and Win' program which rewards dealerships $500 if they meet their pre-determined goal. The draw back is that if you don't achieve it, you will not receive the money period. Even the hold back on a Mazda 3 is minimal, probably about $425 on that vehicle. I was the Sales Manager of a Mazda Dealership in Indiana and unless that vehicle was the one I needed to achieve my goal, then I would not sell it at $15,000 because I know I can sell it for $15,995 to the next Mazda 3 shopper. Between front and back end money, there is not much in the deal for the dealership.whats the best website to look for used cars?
A Mazda 6 however has a much higher mark up as well as rebates. Many Mazda dealership do honor supplier discounts which automatically give the customer the additional $500, so if you have access to a pin #, that would be non-negotiable price which would be really close to where you want to be. (My dealership accepted Ford Employee pin #'s, but not all do)
If you don't have access to supplier, your best bet would be to wait until the end of the month and see if your deal helps them, or find a lower interest rate. I hope this helps.
Is there a website where i can compare cars?
yes they can they will lower the price if you have a trade in or if they wnt to sell bad enough offer 14,500 they won't take then tell them 15,000 is the highest i'll go take it or leave it most of the time they'll take itWhat is a 1986 Buick Electra Park Avenue 2 door Coupe worth? VIN# 1g4cw11b8g1498868?
The other way to lower the price is to take something off the car. If you know how to drive a stick shift and feel comfortable with it you can take 1000-1500 off right there...by not getting automatic transmission.does a manual shift car or automatic cost more?
If you like what The Auto Evaluator said I may be able to get you a Ford pin number for that discounted price. Just email me if that's something you want to look into.
Are you set on the '07? You can probably have more barganing power on a new '06 clearance sale. Or if you must have the '07 look into a lease agreement. You can drive a new car every year or two. Your other best bet would be a auto broker. If you find the right hookup he can offer you options you only dreamed about.
Good Luck
