I have been driving an 1989 z28 camaro for 3 years & it's not at all practical for someone like me. It was garage kept its entire life until I started driving it & now it's starting to show signs of wear in the Florida sun. Since it's my parent's car, it's time for me to purchase my own so we can preserve this one while it's still in excellent condition. With that said, I would like some ideas you might think would be a suitable vehicle for someone like me.
I'm 19, female, I would like a 2-door, no more than 6 cylinders, new/used doesn't matter, NO HYUNDAIS/KIAS, under $20K, nothing fancy. My driving usually pertains to/from my 9-5 job and to the beach on the weekends. I want something that has a very smooth, quite ride. I also like SUV's but cannot find many under $20k. What would you suggest?

Get a used Prius. They are great fun...environmentally responsible...get a lot of attention.economical to drive and the quietest car you will EVER drive. KIA makes several small cars some with 100,000 mile warrenty. Toyoto are good also, if you wouldn't mind a honda used they have excellent history also.Chevy cobalt.

Look for a used Honda or Toyota. For under $20K, they might be older and/or higher mileage, but they're good cars that last a long time.Eclipse's are nice 2 doors, so are Civics.

Small cars are fuel efficent and get you where you want to go .I have a honda civic and love it , light colors are best in FL , because it doesn't bring in added heat to your car.

Get a toyota camry. They are cheap and they aren't crap like american made cars! Don't get me wrong I am american but the cars are crap like dodge, pontiac, ford, and hyndai. Hondas are good too.if you want nice 2 door honda civic if you want a good suv under 20 k maybe you can check a suzuki xl 7
