Question:
On March the 2, 2007 I decided to purchase a car. I traded in my old car and I completed the paper work with the dealer recieved the keys and the temporary title. On March the20 th the dealer calls and states that my loan could not be financed and they needed a letter to prove my income, address, and references. I explained to them that my training income does not reflect my exact salary of about $40,000.
I have put down $2000 dollars on the car and my trade. I Can not provide the income letter at this time because my actual salary and job will not start until the first week in April. I ASKED WHY DID THEY NOT VERIFY THIS INFORMATION BEFORE GIVING ME THE CAR AND SIGNING THE CONTRACT? I Asked them to return my car and I will return their car in the same condition. They also have not paid off the car I traded in. The car is due permanent tags on April the 2nd and I have the car insured. I requested my car back they still request a letter I cannot provide . I WROTE MY AFTER TRAINING SALAR

What kind of car would you recommend me?
Can you get a letter from the firm that you will be earning the $40,000 that states this is the income you will be earning? Also these sorts of people tend to need a shake up and even though it may cost you a few dollars, a letter from a solicitor may help to shake them up enough to do something about the problem. Whether that is to return your old car or what I dont know. How much is a 2006 Chevy Cobalt worth?
Also in future dont misrepresent anything as these are the sorts of situations you get yourself into when you do.
