Can anyone explain to me the current car tax in Georgia?

1) Don't lease. If you do the math as far as required downs, monthly payments, and the amount left to "buy" the car at the end of the term, you end up paying more than just buying it to begin with-- many times by THOUSANDS.

Car sponsor question...?

2) KNOW YOUR CREDIT. Know what scores you have. Consider being approved for financing outside the dealership as dealers make money from taking the loans and selling them to banks-- they actually make MORE money if they can get you higher interest becuase banks pay more money for loans like that. A conflict of interest? DEFINITELY. E-loans, capital one auto finance, lendingtree, etc, you can get preapproved and they give you a blank check ot take to the dealership. Not to mention you walk in KNOWING you can finance the thing and not being embarassed by them pulling your credit.

Cardealership is asking to re-write the contract that I already sign, because my credit isn't great what I do?

3) Research the cars and print out all the info. Know the MRSP's, invoice, etc. If you're buying new, haggle DOWN from the MSRP. If they have a second sticker, dont even look at it. You're not winning if you get them down from the second sticker but still above MSRP. NEVER EVER pay more than MSRP. There are plenty of dealerships that dont mark up beyond that so go somewhere else if they try to tell you they have to!

Hi there, Does anybody know if road angel 7000 sat nav. is a good buy.thanks?

4) If you have a trade in, print out the kelly blue book and nada trade in values, and haggle the trade in price-- SEPERATELY from the new car price-- dont roll it into a package where they're trying to get the new car higher and the trade in lower. Each is a seperate transaction.

Great websites for car auctions.?

5) Be clear about what you want and walk if they try to talk you into other stuff. Let them know you wont be walked all over!!

What do you do if you're selling your car and a person test driving it wrecks it?

6) Haggle the PRICE of the car and NOT the monthly payments. If you get a good price on the car and cant afford the monthly than you cant afford the car. They can make it LOOK like you can afford the car by extending the financing to 72 or 84 months-- which means you'll be owing much more than the car is worth for a very long time.

Do you think this car is worth 13,421? Tell me what you think?

He wanted to sell you something else.BEWARE OF CARSALESMEN .They are lowlife.Dont hand over your creditcard or licence or carkeys give them nothing until you have a deal you are comfortable with. But first you must go and check with at least one more dealer in case there is a better deal elsewhere.
An old trick is to get something from you and keep it,like car keys, ownership, or creditcard.this way they can keep you in the showroom and work on you. Sometimes the sales manager will show up and pretend to be mad at the sales man for giving you a hard time. Thats called BAD COP - GOOD COP. Be prepared to spend an evening in the showroom. Again dont sign anything unless you check with the competition. Good luck

Are lease taxes different depending what state you are in?

I went throught the car search about 6 months ago. I found several vehicles I was interested in and talked with 3 different dealerships in my area. I have better credit than I did when I bought my last car, the bluebook was a fair amount the trade value offerred was less than 1/4 of the BB value so I was pissed from that considering one dealership suggested a used car, humoring him I found the exact car I was trading in, more wear and tear, more miles, body damage, for 15,000 bucks. 15 times what they were offering for mine. I left. The others I ran into payment issues cause I told them what I wanted to pay for a vehicle (comprible to the current one) and they overshot that figure by 300.00 at Samuel Allen Dodge. I was already tired of dealing with the car thing so I luaghed in their face and left. Worse experience at Grubbs Chrysler. Basicaly decided to lease. I got the vehicle I wanted, lower payments than what I was paying on my old car, No downpayment, the salesman drove the SUV out to my work and spent 10 minutes to do the paperwork and the deal was done. Only thing you have to watch out with on a lease is the mileage, the salesman will get you what you want as far as that goes.
So as far as I'm concerned, leasing (at least at D&M Leasing) the salesmen will go farther to win and keep your buisness.

Should I buy this 1995 Chevrolet 1500 pickup?

Leasing is a bad idea as you end up paying more and you are left without something to trade back in at the end of the lease. As for buying, I'd go to somewhere like www.edmunds.com where you can email several dealers in the area and ask for a price quote without going face to face. This way you'll have, in print, a value that you can bargain with. The internet sales people are also able to offer a better deal sometimes.
Also, as sad as it is, car sales people will try to take advantage of women when they go so I'd suggest taking a guy with you to help. Finally, come in with a print out of exactly what you want and what you are willing to pay for it (edmunds.com can help with this). If they refuse to listen to you, leave. If they want your money they have to cater to the customer (that would be you).
Good luck!

Best place to get an auto loan. Not much credit.?

The best way to fiance a car is through a credit union. Their rates are always alot cheaper then banks. Don't use the dealer to fiance your car. They will add on points to your rate. That is how they make their money. If you do go through the dealer, make sure you ask to see the original rate quoted before they add on their points. If they refuse to show you it, then don't buy the car. Trust me you will save alot of money by doing this. You can also tell them to reduce their points on the fiance rate. Again if they won't show you then leave. Be a detective when it comes to buying a car. Car dealerships are all scams and they will scam you if like them. Personally I would use the Internet to buy a car. You will get a better price then going with a dealership. Always know the true market value of the car or the bluebook price before going in to buy it. Remember knowledge is power. Good luck

Which one of these offers is a better deal for a new vehicle?

I used Fighting Chance and bought my car by fax. If you're looking into a new car, I'd definitely recommend their service. It costs about $40, but I ended up saving thousands and I didn't have to hassle with any dealers at all and saved myself a lot of time doing research. I faxed several dealerships, told them exactly what I wanted and asked them to fax me back their quotes. There were two dealers very close at the bottom end of the price range. I called the one closest to my house & asked them if they'd meet or beat the lowest price and they did -- they also gave me a better interest rate than the loan I'd been pre-approved for through my bank.
