What do you think about the Korean motor vehiles?

You know, there are many kinds of motor companies in the world.
Ford, GM, Chrysler, Toyota, Jeef, Mitsubishi, SAAB, VW, Hyundai, etc.. What I want to know is how people feel about Hyundai motor's vehicles. This is, how much are the company's cars recognized from people in the world? Excellent? High performance compared to the price? low performance for the price? just cheap? not bed? poor? I would like to listen to your opinions. In addition, I would really appreciate if you let me get your opinions on the motors made in China and Japan respectively. I'll be waiting for your kind answers. Thank you.

Korean giant Hyundai is recognized throughout the world. It currently has the best warranty available and seems to offer great value for the price. Cheapo models are available as are luxury models, both sell well. As for China, don't know. Recently met a Chinese gentleman in the Bahamas that informed me China would soon have a bare bones 4dr ready for the states for circa $7500.00 delivered. As for Japan, they're number two in the world. An interesting fact is that a lot of their cars are assembled in the U.S. My Tundra was assembled in Indiana of all places. If you think KIA is not dedicated to U.S. sales, the company is building a billion dollar plant in my home county. So much for imports !

I remember when Hyundai first arrived in the US. sold over 1 million in just couple years. People mistakenly believed since they were from Asia, they'd be as reliable as Japanese cars.. boy were they wrong.

But Hyundai has come a long way in terms of quality. They have won numerous quality awards and their reliability has surpassed American vehicles, not yet the Japanese. But it will take many more years before people forget the 80s and how unreliable and crappy their cars were.
