Question:
The company I leased my truck through won't let me transfer my lease using swap a lease. Is there any way to get out of the lease? What are my best options?
Answers:
The only way to get out of this would be to try and do a few things:
how long do i have before returning a car to a dealership in the state of florida?
1) See if you can end the lease and start making payments to own the truck. i.e. go into a financing situation. There may be a small penalty for breaking the lease but you should be able to transfer it to a finance payment. That way you can sell the truck or trade it in.
2) End the lease early. Simply bring the truck back and pay them whatever the penalty is for returning a lease early.
how many cars are purchased in the UK every year?
3) Go to a separate financial institution or Credit Union and request a loan for either the whole amount owed on the car, or just the rest of the lease payments. Then turn that money over to the financing company that has the car and you will be out of it, but still owe the first company money, so you either sell the car or get a new one and make payments to your new finance company. But at least you won't have the truck anymore.
Those are really the only ways I could imagine it working, I also know from experience as I worked in a dealership for awhile and dealt with people trying to sell or turn over leases all the time.
