Hi im going to look at a used car on saturday.Its a 2005 reg vauxhall corsa sxi 3dr 12k for £5595.Spoke to the seller on the phone.Its had 1 registered keeper,comes with standard warranty till 2008.Just had its first service.What should i need to ask when i go see it.Thanks.

Looks like a not too bad car. Always advisable to take someone who knows cars with you to check it over.
Have a look at the service info; make sure they changed the oil, plugs and all filters. Confirm the mileage if you can. Have a general look at how clean the car is outside, inside and under the bonnet. Take it for a drive and check how it feels. Go up and down through the gears make sure there is no juddering or slipping, rev the engine make sure its smooth and goes back to idle cleanly. Good Luck you always need that.

Get a HPI check for god sake, lots of people worry about the service history which is relevant. But you dont want to find out there is outstanding finance on the car which you will be liable to pay as it is against the car not the owner.
