What do you think of the new Dodge Viper, is it worth buying?

ive driven one, i work at a dodge dealership, and ive driven the new corvettes, my vote personaly is neither. if your gonna bu a supercar i would go german made. the viper is very fast but it can be very difficult to control at lower speeds with rapid acceleration, if you are at a dead stop and floor it it can very easily get away from you. at higher speeds the viper is very easy to handle but you have to remember, this car can burn the tires at 70mph. the viper has a 500ci engine with 500hp at 540lbs torque. the "vette" is the biggest peice of crap i have ever driven. handles terribly at high and low speeds, and just doesnt fit a person well. i wouldnt buy one. but if you really want to know what i wold do: 07 shelby gt 500 mustang. its got a decent price and its well built and just as fast as the viper, and personaly i think it handles better at high and low speeds and i like the looks better. so lets rundown real fast

What is the date for next the 2007 auto show?

Viper = great supercar, not an easy drive tho, make sure you can handle the car or it will handle you.
Vette = id rather walk, you feel like your crammed into a small box on weels, i know guys with minivans that handle better, a downright horribl car.
Mustang = this isnt fords first attempt at a monster mustang, nor carol shelbys, this is the one i would look into as far as speed it is as fast as the other 2 and i think it looks better, probably better on price too. that and its a freaking SHELBY GT 500! its freaking SWEET!

Super cars are about pride of ownership. Not common sense or comfortable rides. So if you sit in your new Dodge Viper,can't take the stupid childish grin off your face and get the giggles every time you punch the gas pedal then it was worth buying. Assuming you can afford the monthly note and upkeep you should buy it. And ratings are subjective so they won't really help you.
