What do folks think about the toyota MR2 as a used sports car?

I am looking for something just to use on weekends or in the summer; want it to be dependable and get decent mileage; mostly be fun to drive...what do you think?

Advice needed on buying a second hand car. Less years or less mileage is better?

I like it, I used to own a Fiat X-1/9 which was a similar concept and a real blast to drive. Toyota, like you say would be way more dependable.
