Question:
Either SUV or cool car. By cool I mean not something your mom would drive. Preferably newer, 2003 to now. SUVs, no Jeep wranglers or rubicons. Most others would be fine.

Toyota 4 Runner is a great choice, the Limiteds come with Diff lock, ad leather, but it will be hard to find one with low miles for 10k, I am a toyota fan so I would say buy a toyota if you don't want to work on it all the time. it really depends on if you off road, or if you need 2 wheel or 4, or if you need a truck bed. but I sayToyota or Newer ford F 150, if you want to buy a older truck and build it up for a lower cost get a early 90's Chevy.

I like the Honda CR-X or Toyota RAV-4, but you may have a hard time finding a 2003 or newer one for $10,000. Look at either a Jeep Liberty or Ford Excape or Mazda Tribute (the latter two are mechanically identical), if you're sold on SUVs.
