i own a shop and it all depends on how good of shape its in right now,if its in good shape and could be fixed fairly cheap you could fix it and drive it a few more years anyway,then trade it off,142 k isn't too bad of mileage ,i believe id fix it and drive it a few more years anyway,but make sure this is what you want to do ,you know your own vehicle better than anyone does,so its up to you whether or not it gets fixed,good luck with it i hope this helps.
