Question:
Wanna get mile points while I purchase my new car. I'll pay off the credit card immediately, so interest is not a factor. However, I only have enough of a credit limit to cover part of the cost of the new car. Can I use another card to pay the rest? Will the dealer allow that?
Answers:
If I buy a used car I won't have to worry about monthly payments just the insurance right?
New car dealers will NOT let you charge the entire amount to your credit card. The most I have heard is $5000. OTOH, used car dealers will gladly charge the entire amount to your card. Can i move to California with my car if i took a loan out for it in Texas?
I think I dealer will pretty much do anything if your buying a car in cash. They drool over cash deals.I would not do that. If you want points then I guess you could go to a bank and get an advance on the card, Dunno if you get points however....If you are going to already have the checks in the mail to the CC company a dealer will allow credit card purchases, He will think you are nutz.
Only do that if you can afford to pay off what you put on your credit card the next due cycle. Most car loans have less interest than credit cards. Some dealers might not allow 2 cards but would not understand that since they will be getting their money.
I am thinking of buying an 03 plate scoobie please help..?
Yes they will accept more than one credit card but there is a good chance that if you do that, they will require that you give them a cash down payment to make sure they don't get ripped off. It would probably be a good idea to check with your credit card company first to make sure that they will approve such a large purchase - it would be rather embarrassing to have them turn down the purchase when you're sitting at the car dealership! What happens to a car loan if co-signer dies?
as long as your card is valid.Cute, affordable, dependable car for teenage girl?
yeah they will allow you to do that. In fact they might find pleasure from knowing that you are getting seriously ripped off. I'm sure they wont care that you are paying a lot more by using a credit card.More Questions & Answers ...
