Is 5K a good price for a 2004 Ford Freestar with 70,000 Miles.?

1) DO NOT have the sales people run out onto the lot the second they see a customer looking at the cars. If I'm just there to browse, I get really annoyed when the guy comes out and tries to pressure me into getting my credit run and all that other stuff. I've avoided even going to a certain dealership because of this. Just leave the customer alone and let them come to you when they're ready. Be available but not in their face.

2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

2) BE HONEST. Car salesman are known for trying to sugarcoat or even outright lie about your ability to purchase a car. Why bring me all the way into the your shop if you know there's a 99.9% chance that I won't be able to finance the car? The customer would prefer that you're up front with them from the beginning (preferably before they drive to the dealership) about what deal you can actually give them. Telling them that you need an extra $2000 down once they get there leads the customer to distrust you and they will be hesitant about buying from you.

Can anyone help me out with a carfax report? The vin is 1G3NL12T01C157182. Thanks guys and gals, im goin nuts

First of all, I wouldn't have the sales people go running out, like the person above me said. Instead, I would have a sales person go outside and be kinda close. Or, when they see a customer, give them like ten minutes, and then go outside and introduce themselves, then tell them if they have any questions, you will be inside, or "over here", basically, out of the way, so the customer can shop, but be close enough to answer questions. Also, the sales person would offer free drink or snack while the customer is looking.
If the customer wants to test drive, give them the keys and let them drive whatever. The sales person might go along, might not, depending on the car.
Now, when it comes down to business, if the customer wants to buy the car, then I would have them go inside. Oh, the price of the car would be posted, with the amount the car cost me, so the customer will know I am not trying to rip them off, but yet, I do want to make money too. I would have a run down of what their monthly payments might be. A chart that had a generic credit ratings, different interest rates, and also include if they put money down, so the customer will know for sure if they could afford the payments. Then, if the customer agrees, then I would call the banks and see if they can get a loan. If the bank won't, then I would loan them the money.
There would not be a need for haggling, since the price wouldn't be lowered, they would see exactly how much I would make on the car, and it wouldn't be much.
As far as a trade in, I would give them top dollar for it, or maybe sell it for them, for some money. Basically, give them what its worth, and then split the profit with them, since I would have to sell it for alittle more, to make money.
Also, the whole process wouldn't take hours, I would want to get it so that it wouldn't take more than 30 minutes, so the customer wouldn't have to sit at the dealership.
Oh, also, I would have comfortable chairs, and tv's so when the customer did have to wait, they would be comfortable.

Pro's and Con's of a 2002 Ford Mustang?

The repair shop would be run the same, with the customer in mind. If there was a problem with the vehicle, the mechanic would fix it right. If the car still had the same problem, then he would keep with it until the customer was satisfied. Plus, that waiting area would be comfortable, and relaxing. Maybe have a massage therapist there, or something for the kids. I would also offer a rental car, while their car was being repaired.
