Question:
I'm looking for an SUV to buy for under $5K with milage below 130K. So far, most of the ones I found are 1997-2001 Ford Explorers with 100,000 - 120,000 milage. (Based in Texas)
Anyone know of a nice used camper for sale in or around PA? Thanks?
What do you think of Explorers? And does the above sound like a good deal? Why are Explorers so popular, yet so affordable compared to other SUVs?

Explorers are good, just look it over well make sure it shifts right, and everything works. You can get many miles out of them.um my son always calls it an Exploder...Try Chevy! If you want a great suv look for a Nissan Pathfinder they are wonderful and don't need a super amount of service and they run forever!

should I sell my Road Runner on ebay?
I liked the Ford in preference to an import (Japanese / European) as parts for imports are in shorted supply etc, and the Explorer is based on the F150 which has also been very successful.
If you get one at a decent price in really good condition, then its a decent buy.
