I was thinking of getting my son a car but needed some help figuring out what car would be best for him. I'm going to get the car used and I am willing to spend at most $9500. Any ideas?

Can you get a one year lease on a new vehicle? Or is 2 year the minimum?
If he is novice driver, buy him a cheaper older vehicle. Something he is able to work on & make his mistakes on.Is a 2000 or 2001 Intrepid a good used car to get?
Once he's a little older & making is own money, then he can buy the vehicle of his choice, & will appreciate it if he's having to pay the bills.

what are your sons hobbies? is he in to trucks or cars more? nissans are good car and very reliable.Which one do you think i should buy?
I wish my parents bought me a 10,000 car...cut the amount in half and get Honda or yota..save the rest of the money get all the maint up to date and turn him looseI agree with the first response, Toyota or Honda, and I also like Nissans, because they are quite reliable. Also something good on gas. Teens like to travel quite a bit back and forth to each other's houses, parties, etc., especially when they get their own cars.
