Get an SUV. You have dozens of options, depending on what you can afford, if you want it full loaded, the kind of accessories you want, and the making (American, Japanese, European...).You can visit every make web page and see what you like, even get a page with a comparison between cars.
What is the best 2007 SUV for value and features?
GEO-TrackerWhere can I find the big red bows people put on their new cars at Christmas?
Subaru Impreza or outback, all wheel drive is handy. Get the Impreza WRX. Thats what I would get if I was a car guy. Personally I like my truck. You need a vehicle with all-wheel drive that can be switched 'on the fly' to four-wheel drive (that means you don't have to come to a stop to switch to 4-wheel drive) and good tires. Maybe a small SUV or something like a Subaru Outback ... they're great in the snow. I own a Ford Expedition with full-time all-wheel drive with an 'on the fly' switch for low traction situations. It'll handles deep snow on unplowed roads with no problem, but it's kind of expensive to fill with gas! Usually you have to choose the lesser of two evils ... economy or efficiency!
Ice is different. Even a Hummer slips on ice. You just need to drive carefully, but all-wheel drive helps.
does any one know about how to drive a new car an get paid$?&get a free ride?
If your in north america buy a north american 4x4...anything from chrysler, GM, or ford is your best bet...4x4's used offroad alot wear out quicker...not sure how long you plan to own it...
as for ice and snow, thats more of a tire issue...any 4x4 with bald tires will be bad in ice and snow...whereas a $800 beater with good tires will outdo any $50,000 4x4 with crappy tires...
what should i buy a jaguar xj8 2000 or a cadillac seville 2000?
personally I do not like S10's or jeeps, they both use a air line that engages the front wheel drive and it is a very weak system... ask anyone with a jeep or a S10 that is a mechanic and they will tell you to bypass this system, which means you have to open the hood and engage the 4x4 by hand... on jeeps its a zap strap you have to stick on the front diff to engage it... otherwise you will always get stuck and not know why...
something with hubs that you have to get out to turn on is the best... a push button 4x4 system is junk.. its more of an all wheel drive thing, which is not the same as a 4x4 system
what happens to the last years' cars that dont sell?
An all-wheel drive Ford Explorer. You can get a used one very reasonable for an AWD or you can buy a full loaded new one with all of the latest options. Depends on how much you ant to spend. I've owned two.More Questions & Answers ...
