who puts in the information into car fax computers? and is it from a reliable source?

Answers:

I put in $2,000 dollars down payment 2003 land rover?

I believe the information is from the DMV..just compiled into one report. Some maybe from insurance info too..(like if someone filed an accident report...it'd show that the car was in an accident)
