I wouldn't buy either. You should consider Nissan. Nissan Pathfinder, Xterra or in the cars look at the all-new Altima. Just an idea.

For reliability, you cannot beat a Honda, so go for the CRV or the Accord. I have a CRV and it has never let me down.

I would choose the CRV over the Element. Looks aside, the CRV is a newer design, and overall is a lot more practical. With the Element you have to open the front doors to let someone out of the rear. It is also fairly noisy. I would not rule out a RAV4 either. The only downside is the interior is not a nicely done as the CRV's. But you can get a fairly powerful V6 in it, where as you cannot get one in the Honda.

Camry vs Accord is a little tougher. If we are talking 4 cylinder versions, I would do the Accord. The Accord 4 cylinder is a better motor, and it is a lot more fun to drive. If we are talking loaded up V6 versions, then I would do the Camry, probably the SE trim grade. The Toyota has a good deal more power, and the SE versions will take a turn almost as well. Honda will unveil a new Accord for 2008, so it may be worth the wait if you have your heart set on the Accord.
