Those would be statutes.I live in KCMO and know that in Missouri, buying from an individual is on an AS IS. meaning it is up to you to satisfy your own questions by taking the car to a shop to have it checked out before you buy it. Now if they will guarnatee it will pass inspection and the stability of the mechanical then have them sing a 30 day 3,000 mile warranty..If they won't the decision to buy is up to you.
