All in all, I have found any GM product to be a good reliable car, my whole family has GM's ranging from 79k miles to 280k miles. and all of them run like they were pulled off the lot yesterday!! Granted you must keep them well managed, ie regular oil changes, we have the tranny fluid done every 100k miles and at least at 125k we get the radiator flushed.Seriously though, whatever car you end up considering, also consider who drove it last and definately invest in a carfax report!

You can find one of these cars most likely with remaining factory warranty. You could go and buy a higher miled Toyota or Honda, but you'd be missing warranty. And believe it or not, imports break as often as domestics and they cost more to repair. I included the Elantra because it's a good buy with warranty and I've seen the Hyundai's to be every bit as good as the other two big imports.
I assume you're financing and these later model, lower miles vehicles will be better favored by the banks, meaning lower payments.
Where can I buy a fully functional Ice Cream truck & how much does it cost?
Plus, if financing, I always suggest something with warranty. It is difficult to make a car payment each month AND have to occasionally pay a repair bill on top of that.
