When did leasing a vehicle start or become popular?
What upsets me most about them (and all salespeople) is that they don't care if you don't want it, can't afford it, they just keep pushing, pushing, pushing...Does anyone know a website where I can check a VIN for FREE??
Their double breasted suits.that they are just out to sell you a car, not to make sure it is the right one for you
the fact that they are only after sales targets and not interested in whether you're getting the right car or not. As for second hand car sales people, they are just born liars!!
What upsets me the most is when they tell you your getting the car as is and it starts to act up on you a month after driving it. They need to be more honest.
Would buying a 2003 Mercedez Benz C-320 for $18999 be a good buy?
I've always mistrusted car salespeople, especially those ones who won't let you out of the showroom until you've bought something. Having said that, we were once at a local car yard looking for a LandRover Discovery, the only one they had was a V8. The salesman was actually honest and told us we would only get about 17 mpg and to stay away from it. That was a refreshing change.BMW 2007 3 series coupe or Mercedes c350 coupe?
Someone has to sell cars.I have a used car showroom and i have an honest polite approach and i leave customers to it, if they are interested and the car is good it should sell its self.
Oh and if someone says the car is "as is" it doesn't mean a thing you have 3 months warranty by law in the UK unless the car is sold as scrap not fit for the road and this has to be written on the invoice
Can you lease a car when you're 18 years old and without parent(s)' permission?
Probably when I went to the car showroom to buy myself a car, with my husband, Mr. GorgeousFluffpot. The car salesman kept talking to Mr. GF, even though my husband kept saying to him "speak to my wife, the car's for her". the salesman would smirk at me, condescendingly, and then turn to Mr. GF and carry on talking to him. It was only when the discussion turned round to the colour of the car that the salesman invited my contribution!!Needless to say, we didn't buy there and found a better deal - and a more polite salesman - further down the road!
I bought a used car from a person and I am having some real issues.?
I don't like pushy sales people. It irritates me when I set foot onto a car lot and I am approached immediately, by sales people following me around.I want time to wander the lot and see if anything catches me eye, before even speaking to a sales person. If I want more information on the car, I will go inside and ask to speak to someone.
Help me please! I need to buy a car but I don't know what to get!?
i hate how they think that they are something special compared to other people they work with and coustomers and how they look down on themShould I do the On line Credit Application for Chrysler?
it their job so i try not to let them get to me. but they can be annoying sometimes. What are the chances of buying a car with a kind of bad credit?
They are sales people and only think of earning their commission.Upsetting is when you have a trade in and they ask for YOUR car keys to check it out your car, when the deal did not go through they can't find your keys.
Another annoyance after you told them what you are looking for, they will take you into another area and show other models.
The most annoying to me was when they assigned an obvious illegal immigrant who spoke very poor English. . .by now one knows the dealer is on their last legs.
I would say personally, I dislike getting off the car, and having someone start walking towards me, or like sharks, waiting at the front door. It hasn't been the first time I start walking to the opposite area of the parking lot when I've seen one coming. I even made it a point once to run away from a few. One time I just held my fingers out like a "cross", "STAY AWAY!!". Other times I simply tell them "Can I get into the dealership first because you attack me?".
Then we have the cocky ones which I've encountered in 2 Toyota dealerships, who reminded me "We don't discount any of our cars, the price is what you pay" so I left. They asked why, I said "Well you wont have a problem selling them, you dont need me"..."But you haven't seen the vehicle?!!"...I replied, "Thats true I haven't, what a shame right?"
Then my pet peeve stunt, I sit down with the salesperson to work numbers, and I WARNED him, I knew about cars, this is my field, and they notice I do know the process... I warn them, "dont send me the manager to act like he's my friend saying he's trying his best" and before I finished, the manager coming in thru the door, so I ripped him eloquently a new one. Once I see this tactic I just get up and leave.

What is the interest rate on a used commercial vehicle purchase?
So what works for me. I go only to the dealership to test the vehicles for myself or my friends, then go home and buy them online.
Is a 1994 BMW for $3,900 and 144,000 a deal or not worth it?
There ARE some dealerships like all Saturns, and some other select dealerships that have a one price policy, those are easier to deal with, but careful with the numbers. I've seen some Maroone chain stores which the "no haggle" pricing is rediculous, then I find it online at another dealership thousands less.
I'm getting a new car which one is best?
Also, for those who dont have a clear choice of what they want. I advice them to go to CarMax, and see some cars and test drive them THERE (of course these are used, but what better way to see how their car will hold up), then just shop for a new one online.
Used car with best gas mileage?
Now with the internet, there's really no reason why should negotiate with dealers.
Help please!! I have just listed a vehicle for sale on EBay.ca and have i bid - now what!!?
They can be intimidating, and are good at trying to confuse you with doubletalk.Looking for a car dealership in houston that has hooked up cars ready to go?
Things are improving, though. Most car buyers are more clued up, by doing research on the internet, to find the value of their old car, and what they should be paying for a new one.
Are seized car auctions worthwhile?
I'd like it if you could just go to a supermarket (Tesco etc), and buy a car off the shelf without any hassle.
Looking to release a new car.?
Some of them are pushy and want you to buy cars you cant afford. The ones that chase you around the forecourt and suddenly say "test drive"Automatic or standard wich is overall beter in a 4x2 07 dodge dakota?
I am sure that most of you have jobs, and you hate it when people stereo-type you, but you must see that you are all commenting on a small percentage of people. I'm a car sales person and although we are asked to greet people promptly I hate pouncing on people as they walk through the door. It makes it much harder for the salesperson as the customer at this early stage has no idea on what they want. (and don't forget if we didn't speak to customers there would always be the customer who comes out with "Don't you people want to sell me a car?" you can never keep everyone happy all the time) Yes I work on commission and have targets but the way most of us see it is that you are happy and relaxed you are more likely to buy a car. I and many others are not interested in trying to 'push' you in to something you don't want or can not afford. Whats the point in that?? Your less likely to buy something that you don't like or can't afford. What annoys me, and I saw someone write that they do it, is people who spend dealers/salesperson's time, resources and money and then buy from another company on line! This costs the motor industry millions every year all round the world and you wonder why the cars are more expensive?? Its because of people like this. Just remember, there are two sides to every coin.It upsets me when they get a bad rap from inexperienced buyers, or buyers with an unrealistic outlook of what these guys are doing.
