Mini Cooper S VS Subaru Impreza WRX?

Im trying to decide between the Mini Cooper S and the Subaru WRX (not STI). What do you think is better in terms of performance, reliability, exterior, interior, and maintenance?

The WRX is offered in a TR edition, that is a single cd loading, non-sport seated version of the regular one. Power is 235 2.5 DOHC AWD vs a new turbo 174 1.6 SOHC FWD. Subaru cost less to maintain, while the MINI has a much higher resale value.
They are in different classes that cannot be compared.
MINI's are fun city cars, while WRX's are wild rally cars.
