depending on what car, if its an import you can swap the engine. however like the first person said american cars suck after 50000 they start falling apart. If you have the extra money to rebuild the engine or keep up constant maintenence and I mean CONSTANT MAINTENENCE then yes. Most if not all cars after that amount of time have gone through ALOT leaks, new seals, new brakes etc
